Just A Kid From Wichita™ has been the undisputed leader in providing an incomparable and unsurpassable basketball camp for kids and parents across South Central Kansas. Just A Kid From Wichita™ basketball camps prioritize inserting current and former NBA, WNBA and other prolific hometown heroes to provide hope while imparting valuable life lessons to overcome daily challenges. The prominent mentorship, coaching along with games, and competitive gameplay, breakfast, lunch, and nutritious snacks are designed to enhance the experience. We aim to foster fundamental skill development and help each camper maximize their potential both on and off of the court. DJ Fisher, a multi-award winning businessman, philanthropist and sports agent founded Defining Sports, a full-service sports marketing agency in 2005. Making a huge impact in the sports world, Fisher has represented a host of legendary coaches and players, including Hall of Famer, 4-Time WNBA Champion and 3-Time WNBA MVP, Sheryl Swoopes; 3-Time WNBA Champion, All-Star and Rookie of the Year, Cheryl Ford; 5-Time NBA Champion Ron Harper; NBA Champion and NCAA Champion, Derek Anderson and more. During his 19-year career he has broked over $75 Million in endorsement deals and partnerships, making a name for himself on a global level. DJ used the game of basketball to elevate him to where he is today and now he returns to his hometown and tell his story and inspire the next generation of tomorrow.
